Additionally, Switch is known for an array of one-of-a kind jewelry including estate pieces, original designs by Julia Cohen, to exclusives from the world’s most respected designers.
The Story
Switch Boutique opened its doors in December 2006 when sisters Julia and Jennifer Cohen, reached the culmination of their shared dream. Julia and Jennifer had a clear vision of what they wanted to create. A fashion destination that lives up to the high-standards of Los Angeles’ celebrity culture but with the alluring and easy charm of the two endlessly enthusiastic sisters who maintain their Northern California spirit.
The Founders
Prior to opening Switch, Julia, spent four years as the head buyer for a prolific Los Angeles fashion boutique. Julia’s eye for uncovering styles and trends far ahead of the industry earned her a reputation with stylists, celebrities and major fashion brands as one of Los Angeles’key tastemakers. Switch is also the home to Julia’s eponymous jewelry line, a high-fashion take on Rock Culture inspired design with a vintage touch.
Jennifer focused her early career on business and finance before moving to fashion where she worked alongside leading jewelry designers. Jennifer’s background in business proved an essential ingredient to the stores success. Now Jennifer is an integral part of Switch’s impeccable taste in both iconic designer pieces and new undiscovered talent.
